Wow! We have our first look of Saoirse as Hanna. Thanks to M for the tip.

Young females with a killer instinct seem to be in vogue right now at the movies, what with The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and Kick-Ass. The next in line to be recruited for lethal duty is Saoirse Ronan, the 16-year-old Irish star of last year’s The Lovely Bones and an Oscar nominee as Keira Knightley’s troublemaking little sis in 2007′s Atonement.
In this exclusive first-look photo, reports USA TODAY’s Susan Wloszczyna, she is the title character in Hanna, raised from childhood to be the perfect assassin by her ex-CIA man father (Eric Bana) in rural Finland.
Cate Blanchett is the icy intelligence operative overseeing her mission. The Jason Bourne meets La Femme Nikita thriller is directed by Joe Wright, who showed a flair for intense action during the Dunkirk beach scene in Atonement, and is due next year.
Just came across three new outtakes of Session 13 from 2009 and Telegraph Magazine, also, the scan of Telegraph Magazine February 10 issue.

As you can see I have put up a brand new layout. I really hope you like it! The previous layout has been up since the site online and I think it’s times for a change. Let me know what you think about it.
Outtakes of Saoirse for Zoo Magazine is now available in the gallery. I really love this shoot!
Finally we have our first look of Saoirse filming “Hanna”. She was spotted on set on April 09 and 14.
Also, Saoirse Ronan Web is now on Twitter! You can now follow @saoirseronanweb for all the latest updates and news of Saoirse.
The photoshoot Saoirse did for LA Times in 2009 has been replaced with HQ version.
Happy 16th Birthday, Saoirse!

Production Weekly reports that Ronan will star in The Tribes of Palos Verdes, an adaptation of Joy Nicholson’s young adult novel to be directed by Liz Friedlander.
Published in 1998, Palos Verdes takes a fairly dark perspective on California surfing culture, following a teeange girl who moves there with her troubled family and finds her only outlet in surfing. Director Friedlander has only one feature credit, the dancing drama Take The Lead, but has been behind several episodes of One Tree Hill and 90210, both shows that may influence her style with more stories of teen angst. Lucky for her she’s got an ace in the hole in Ronan, who even when mired in something as crazy as The Lovely Bones can pull off anything she wants. She’s currently playing a teen assassin in Joe Wright’s Hanna, but with nothing else pressing on the horizon, Palos Verdes could easily be what’s next.
British actress Carey Mulligan gets cast in a female “buddy movie” while Jessica Biel goes from mob mistress to state witness.
Oscar nominees Carey Mulligan (An Education) and Saoirse Ronan (Atonement) are set to star in the dark comedy Violet and Daisy, described as Thelma and Louise meets Superbad and Pulp Fiction. Oscar-winning screenwriter Geoffrey Fletcher (Precious) wrote the script and will direct.
Ronan is in production with the Joe Wright film about a teenage assassin, Hanna, starring Eric Bana and Cate Blanchett. Mulligan has been working on Never Let Me Go with Kiera Knightley about dark schoolgirl secrets. Fletcher is also finishing Attica, a prison riot drama by director Doug Liman
